ELKART LAKE – GLENBEULAH SCHOOL DISTRICT

“Our staff thinks “outside the box” to provide learning solutions and experiences which are meaningful and relevant to the our students’ lives, such as incorporating technology to facilitate and expand student learning; providing exploratory courses; offering independent study experiences and advanced coursework, and tying into relevant current events such as the Winter Olympics and Presidential elections with mini-units of study.”

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District continues to offer an array of comprehensive opportunities designed to encourage the development of the entire student. Our class sizes, with low teacher-student ratios, provide a caring and stimulating learning environment appropriate for each student. EL-G offers all the benefits of a much smaller school district, while maintaining a much larger district’s ability to operate in an innovative and progressive manner.

The District has a major focus on technology integration with our small class sizes to maximize personalized learning experiences and also develop the 21st century skills of collaboration, communication and creation. Students in grades 6-12 will have Chromebooks for personal use at home and school; students in grades 4-5 will have a 1:1 device for use at school, students in grades 4K-grade 3 have iPads and Nooks for use in their classrooms. All classrooms have interactive whiteboards, 3-D cameras, and access to learning response systems.

*On-site child care facility, with a 3-year-old program component.
