Explore the life and legacy of the late Ruth DeYoung Kohler II through objects and art from her personal collection. The show illustrates Kohler’s passion for and commitment to the John Michael Kohler Arts Center (where she served as director for more than four decades), visual and performing arts and artists, and the Sheboygan community. In addition to featuring works by artists who had meaningful relationships with Kohler, the exhibition will offer a timeline of important moments in her life. Also, gallery visitors will be invited to share memories of Kohler and to create their own Ruth-inspired works of art through hands-on activities.
