Things to Do
This small, friendly city offers a wonderful array of retail and dining options. Strolling down the quaint streets, you can get a latte, freshly popped popcorn, find, well, just about anything in a variety store, pop in to get your haircut, buy beautiful knitting yarn, kids’ shoes and even a brightly colored toilet seat. And it’s a delightful place for dining. Originally a carriage factory and later the firehouse, police station and municipal office and the city’s first school, Firehouse Pizza is a local favorite. Served amid an eclectic décor including a license plate wall and bicycles hanging from the ceiling, are specialty pizzas. The sour cream potato soup and desserts (like the chocolate éclair torte) are not to be missed. Other popular places to grab a bite to eat include the Bread & Bean Eatery and Twisted Restaurant & Bar.
Sheboygan Falls also boasts one of the top golf courses in the nation. Residents also like to bowl, enjoy multiple city parks, and take classes though the local YMCA.
