CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Plymouth, WI (pop ~8,400) is the second largest community and ground zero for the Wisconsin Cheese Industry. It is estimated that 10-15% of the nation’s cheese is processed and sold from Plymouth-based facilities and makes the community the “Cheese Capital of the World” (trademark). Plymouth has also been recognized as one of the best places to start a business due to its strong local economy.

If you’re looking for a city with loads of family-friendly activities year ‘round, Plymouth fits the bill. There’s ice skating and hockey on the mill pond, sledding at “cardboard hill” and snowboarding and skiing at Nutt Hill (it’s smaller but has a tow rope), swimming at the Plymouth Aquatic Center, throwing down some tricks at the skate park, mini golfing and batting cages at Tom & Jerry’s, and Frisbee golf at Meyer’s Park. Plymouth, Wisconsin has many recreational opportunities that are organized by the local recreation department and Quit Qui Oc Athletic Alliance.
