Nestled in the scenic, Kettle Moraine hills, Cascade, Wisconsin (pop. ~700) is a quaint, quiet community. The environmentally minded community is the first in Wisconsin to power its waste water treatment facility using 100% renewable energy via two windmills. Known for its annual Firemen’s Picnic, much about this community revolves around volunteer organizations such as the Fire/First Responders Department, Recreation Association and the local Lions Club.

Nearby Lake Ellen has public boat access and is home to pan fish, bass, pike and walleye. Not far from Cascade is the 600-acre Highland Sportsman’s Club a high-end, service orientated sporting club complete with clay courses, birding and fishing ponds.
