I am going to share with all the Original Chicken Dumpling Soup from HC Pranges. Nothing makes you feel better – and it’s crazy simple. Remember to season to taste! (I would add cooked onion, peas and some poultry spices myself.)

PRANGE’S CHICKEN DUMPLING SOUP

  • 4 qts of water (or chicken stock)
  • 1 bag of frozen carrots (I use 4 fresh carrots)
  • 4 stalks of celery
  • Cooked chicken

Dumplings

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups plus on TBS flour
  • Season salt to taste

Instructions

Bring liquid to boil to cook carrots and celery. Stir dumpling mixture together to form a nice dough. Drop in cooked chicken and then drop dumplings.
