It’s a week of good causes paired with good food and fun activities!

Each week in Sheboygan County boasts new opportunities to enjoy life with family, friends, or just yourself. This week is no different, with more chances to take full advantage of this #SomeplaceBetter.

Family got cabin fever? This Sunday, take advantage of two opportunities to get out – for the kids, Crossroads Community Church is hosting an open gym from 1pm-3pm (get details here) with food, activities, and more for FREE. Then for your furry friend, Three Hounds Training Ground in Plymouth is having an open house (click here for details) – for $5, you gain access to their indoor pool for your pup!

3 Sheeps Brewing Co. is hosting a fundraiser for Planting Roots from 1-4pm, which is building a school for vulnerable children in Tanzania. Come have a beer, enter some raffles, and learn more. Details can be found here.

Learn about another country and its culture from Plymouth High School’s foreign exchange students. Hailing from Italy, Spain, Norway, and Portugal, this is an opportunity to gain awareness of the world we live in and connect. Hosted at Generations in Plymouth from 3:30-5:00pm. If your kids (between 4-10 years old) are off of school for the holiday, the Sports Core in Kohler from 8:30-11:30am is opening its doors to make the day a blast – or should we say, a splash! They’ll get an hour of training followed by snacks and fun. There is an entry fee that varies between members and non-members. Click here for full details.

Perhaps you have a hidden skill in music or poetry. Swing by The Hub Cafe in Plymouth between 6 and 8pm for their open mic night and show us what you’ve got! Find the address, hours, and other details here.


Hope’s Hearts is happening again at the John Michael Kohler Art Center from 3-7pm! Help raise awareness and learn about fighting trafficking in an informal setting while making beautiful chimes to send messages of hope to those who want to get out of the game. Details here.

A classic story that’s been around for years, The Very Hungry Caterpillar is being told in a fun way at the Stephanie Weill Center from 6-7pm! Bring your little one for a colorful puppet retelling of the tale. Find the details of time and cost here.

Find food and fellowship this evening at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Plymouth’s Welcome Table Dinner from 5-7pm. Free and open to all – click here for details.


Little Builders is a free event happening this Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am! Bring your toddler for an hour of exploration and problem-solving at Generations in Plymouth. Your 2½-4-year-old is able to freely play with large foam blocks and regular small blocks. Full details here.

Or, for your older child (5-13), venture out to Camp Y-Koda between 9:30-12:00 to study the science of snow! This event is offered with homeschooled children in mind. Find the details here for cost and registration.

If you’re a woman in the professional arena, stop in the Elk’s Lodge in Sheboygan from 12:00-1:30 to be inspired and educated. This month’s meeting is focusing on leadership and mental wellness. Learn about the speaker and more here.


Have a baby? Looking for ways to stay active with your little one? Come to Baby Boot Camp at Plymouth High School from 3:00-3:45pm! Your baby and you will bond while you get your heart rate up and break a sweat. Note that you need clearance from your doctor to participate, but after that, you can find details of registration and a little of what to expect here.

The process of grief is long and difficult. Sheboygan County is a community that cares – Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls hosts a support group open to all from 6-7:30pm. Click here to get the details for the Cup of Hope Grief Support Group.

If you’re looking for a high-end experience with some friendly competition, watch two sommeliers go head-to-head in the Immigrant from 6-9pm while having a meal at one of the highest rated restaurants in the area. Click here for full details and to reserve your spot.


Breakfast food is the best food! Come support your local YMCA from 11am-2pm in Sheboygan by eating pancakes. All proceeds help support the youth programs! Get the details here.

For dinner, another good cause to support with a show included – Southside Alliance Church from 6-8:30pm is hosting Fish Stick Comedy with a spaghetti dinner. Proceeds go to aid victims of sex trafficking in Thailand. Details here.


There’s always opportunities for creativity and fun for the little ones! Plymouth Public Library hosts a monthly LEGO Club and Playdough Playdate from 10:00-11:30, free and open to a couple age groups. Click here for all the details.

Then, enjoy a fun theatre experience at the Kohler Memorial Theatre! Presenting Willy Wonka, put on by Kohler’s Middle and High School. This performance will also be put on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Find out about tickets and times here.
